Bethan Darwin is a solicitor specialising in employment and boardroom law. She is ranked band 1 by Chambers UK Guide to the Legal Profession for employment law in South Wales. She has particular expertise in acting for directors and senior executives. She deals with employment law disputes for both employers and employees and also transactional employment law matters.
In 2013 Bethan made the big decision to leave Darwin Gray, the law firm she helped set up in 2002, and join her husband David Thompson at Commercial Conclusion.
Bethan runs Superwoman, a networking group which raises funds for various charities through its events. Superwoman has raised over £43,000 since it was set up in October 2005
In 2009 Bethan was shortlisted for the South Wales Chamber of Commerce Woman in Business award and for Red Magazine’s Red Hot Woman awards in the mentor category. She was listed in the Lawyer Magazine’s Hot 100 Lawyers in the UK for 2010.
Bethan has two children aged 15 and 9. In any spare time she gets, she writes novels. Her first novel, Back Home, was published by Honno in March 2009 and her second, Two Times Twenty, was published in October 2010.
