Walking nut. Give me a coast path, a mountain or park close to home and I will want to walk there, as soon as possible and as often as possible.
Despite my background in leadership and presentation coaching and consultancy, I find standing up in front of people and talking terrifying… and exciting in equal measure. I’d always prefer to do a whole day than 10 minutes, but I do love a challenge!
I love my coaching clients and get such a kick from seeing them turn their failures into successes. Witnessing people who are stuck letting go of long standing, unhelpful habits and beliefs, becoming calmer, more confident and more willing to step into new challenges is a delight.
I am passionate about the multiple benefits walking can bring to your business, your health and your life. The mental health benefits are huge, and there is science behind why it all works.
It is my contention that the only people who don’t love walking are the people who don’t do it. Or don’t do it often enough…
And… you can learn anything that can be learned in a room (provided it doesn’t require a computer) so much better outside whilst you’re walking…
