GBWN is about the self development of business women – wherever they work. It is not about ‘high powered’ business deals and it is not about a social chit chat (although GBWN members have met and made many good friends through the network) – it is about how we can be the best at what we do. Our members include women working on their own and women working for others in all size of organisations. Members come from the public and private sectors and a wide range of interesting businesses. But what brings us all together is a desire to meet like minded women – women who want to succeed in whatever their chosen profession.
Members tell us that GBWN is a network that provides interesting information via our speakers; a relaxed atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable sharing experiences and asking each other for help and a friendly, non intimidating place to meet other business women. That’s good news as that’s what the committee are aiming to achieve, and it’s good news for the members who are being supported in their development.
