Committee Expansion
The GBWN year starts afresh in September and we are looking to expand the committee. We want to continue to develop the network and would love your support in doing so. Already this year we have grown the membership by 33% and it continues to increase. By next year we would like to see it triple. We also want to provide high quality events and grow the profitability of the network so we can start to invest in the speakers and treat the membership.
In becoming a committee member, past and current members have reported they are more connected to people in the network, have made more friends and have appreciated their own development in being part of a growing business (not for profit). They also like the opportunity to put their ideas into practice and give back to their fellow business women. They also have a good time!
We're looking for people to be involved at all levels. You could hold an officer position (like membership or marketing) or smaller roles and responsibilities like making people feel included when they arrive at a meeting for the first time.

On Tuesday 22nd July at 5:30 pm we are meeting in the Celtic Manor (Merlins Bar) to discuss the vision for the network and look at events coming up. You'll get a good idea of what we're like, be able to ask lots of questions and see if this is for you.
